This neighborhood is bursting with qualities and history. The Bergse Voor- en Achterplas lakes are iconic and surrounded by greenery, beautiful homes, and marinas. Through the locks, you can sail with your boat on the Rotte River towards the city or Rottemeren. Between the lakes, the Straatweg runs, flanked by the most beautiful villas and apartments. The street ends in the historic village near the Hillegonda Church, where you can find lovely shops in and around Bergse Dorpsstraat. The natural swimming pool ‘t Zwarte Plasje is also remarkable.
