The Zuiderpark is the green pearl of the South and a wonderful place to relax, play sports or visit a festival. However, the Zuiderpark district is more than just the park and includes all green areas around Pendrecht and Zuidwijk. On the south side in the green zone along the A15 are the only houses along the Charloisse Lagedijk and the Smitshoekseweg. In this surprisingly village-like area there is also a hockey club, a baseball club, a riding school, a football club, the Pendrechtse Molen and a recreational lake.
