Pendrecht is located west of Slinge metro station. You will find the Plein 1953 shopping center in the center of the district, where you can find all daily amenities. It is a green neighbourhood. Some of the smaller houses are now making way for larger family and senior homes. A lot has also been invested in child-friendly routes and facilities. This makes the area more attractive. The area was already attractive due to the adjacent Zuiderpark. Woonstad has plans to build a modern residential building with space for 82 rental homes. This project is called Valckensteyn.
